* Assist with the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries, the investigation of variances to budget/forecast/prior year, and the preparation of account reconciliations and supplemental schedules.
* Assist with the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and assist with the analysis of material variances versus budget/forecast/prior year.
* Ensure financial statements are in compliance.
* Assist with annual financial statement & footnote disclosure review with external auditors, as well as any financial reporting requirements to third party constituents. Research emerging accounting and reporting standards.
* Prepares and distributes reports to internal and external parties, including managers, directors and executives.
* Make and Review posted entries for appropriateness to classification and business line.
* Monthly calculation and accrual of employee Compensation/Bonus worksheets.Key Words:Accounting, jobs. Skills / Requirements

* Bachelor‚s degree in Accounting or related field required (CPA preferred)
* 4-6 years of public accounting experience (Big Four preferred) or combined corporate and public accounting experience
* Strong technical accounting background needed and SEC reporting experience highly preferred
* Advanced Excel skills and other PC skills
