Blog Post: HRABC's new program for Members in Transition
posted Thursday, March 5, 2009 4:06 PM
HRABC is announcing a new program being offered exclusively to its members. This program is for those members who are currently unemployed and seeking employment. The name of the program is "The Living Room". Our first get together will be next Wednesday, March 11 from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at the Westin on Cypress Creek Road just east of I-95.
The association has partnered with A Plus Professional Resume Writing, Lee Hecht Harrison, Right Management and Workforce One. This team will be available to give advice to all HRABC members seeking advice and assistance in their job search. HRABC’s “Living Room” will offer a series of mini workshops and one-on-one opportunities for Members in Transition (MIT) to gain access to services offered by some of South Florida’s leading employment/outplacement organizations. These services will be provided at no charge to participants designated as “MIT”. In addition, HRABC will work with MIT to ensure they are able to take advantage of local, state and national MIT services to include the Suspension of Chapter and National Membership Dues/Renewal Fees. For more information visit HRABC's website at www.hrabc.org.
