A medical center located in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida is seeking a qualified medical assistant who will handle a variety of duties including but not limited to:
Clinical Duties:
Measure vital signs
Update patients charts
Dispense medication
Draw/Collect urine and blood samples
Urinalysis
Prepare treatment rooms
Administer injections, immunizations, spirometry, hearing and eye exams
Dispose of Hazardous materials

Front Desk/Clerical Duties:
Meeting/Greeting Clients
Handle phones
Record accurate messages
Schedule follow-up appointments
Record and track lab results
Phone/Fax in prescriptions
maintain cleanliness of office and waiting room

Skills / Requirements

Successful candidates must deliver an unprecendented level of customer service and interact with patients and their families in a way that instills confidence and gives them a strong sense of being cared for. Candidate must be well-spoken, neatly dressed, have excellent clinical skills and be sincerely caring.
