The technical trades are highly skilled and trained individuals. ATI can train for in-demand careers.

Programs include:

Automotive Service Technician
Employment of automotive service technicians and mechanics is expected to increase 14 percent between 2006 and 2016, compared to 10 percent for all occupations. (Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Department of Labor, Career Guide to Industries, 2008-09 Edition)

Motorcycle Service Technician
The Motorcycle Service Technician program provides the hands-on training to prepare graduates for entry-level employment in either specialized or general automotive service.

Combination Welding
The Combination Welding program trains students in shielded metal arc, gas MIG and TIG welding in preparation for employment in the building and construction industries, shipbuilding, manufacturing, and oil field services.

Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration
The Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Refrigeration and Major Appliances Service Technology programs equip the graduates with training required for entry-level positions for residential and commercial air conditioning service and repair, plus positions as maintenance technicians for larger chilled water systems.
