Job Summary

The AECOM Traffic Department is actively seeking a creative, self-driven, highly talented Traffic Engineer Manager for employment in the Orlando office. As a manager in the Traffic group, you will oversee managing and mentor junior engineers, responsible for marketing, business development, and project management.

  • Lead and manage projects, staff, and business development activities in the area of traffic engineering and design
  • Serve as client contact for greater Florida clients
  • Participate in strategic planning efforts to expand the practice and organize and lead team members in the execution of the strategic plan
  • Provide leadership in the successful delivery of transportation planning projects, including schedule, quality and within budget performance
  • Lead and support staff through staff development, mentoring, coaching, performance evaluations and recruitment.

Minimum Requirements
  • Associate of Science or Bachelor of Science in Civil or Electrical Engineering 
  • 12 plus years of related experience in traffic signal design and traffic operations.
  • Experience staff management and project management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license required

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the Florida DOT transportation industry market
