The Telemarketer is responsible for building and reinforcing relationships with existing client accounts and new prospects through print, electronic advertising, direct mail, telephone selling, community involvement, and any other lawful form of communication.
• Reaches out to members of community and assists sales team and funeral arrangers with building relationships and informing potential client families of our products and services.
• Develops new prospects and community-based contacts using provided call list.
• Represents the company in a professional and caring manner, maintaining a professional personal appearance and employing honesty, integrity, and ethical methods of performing duties.
• Carefully screens call list and maintains record of contacts, accounts, and orders.
• Contacts and schedules potential client families for an appointment for an in-person sales presentation.
• Educates on pre-need sales and cemetery merchandise and services as well as interment right options using scripts and established marketing programs.
• Answer calls and answer questions from potential customers who are responding to advertisements.
• Maintains positive and proactive communication and cooperation with all departments to ensure a smooth service process for the family.
• Reports all progress to the Sales Manager (or Unit Leader) as directed, completing and submitting all required reports in a timely manner.
• Protects confidentiality of company and client family information, including sales and marketing programs and materials, names and addresses of client families and employees, and other related information.
• Identifies and remedies all hazards at location and on grounds.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state issued driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Must be Bilingual.
• Basic overall computer proficiency.
• Ability to effectively present information to established and potential client families.
• Ability to follow scripts and capture attention of client families.
• Ability to effectively work and develop sales leads and referrals from recognized sources and approved methods.
• Ability to effectively utilize all sales training and techniques to fulfill production requirements.
• Effective and professional communication skills, with an emphasis on verbal skills.
• Ability to empathize with client families and demonstrate tact and patience in emotionally charged situations.
• Ability to be proactive and willing to take initiative in all circumstances.
• Demonstrated willingness to participate in growing market share through personal community involvement.

Location is looking for someone to work M-F 4pm to 8 pm and weekends 10 am to 2 pm.
