Schedules work assignments, manages priorities and directs work of maintenance and custodial personnel as well as outside vendors.
Plans, schedules and implements preventive maintenance program; schedule and prioritize repair initiatives.
Troubleshoots, diagnoses and addresses maintenance issues and requests to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Assesses production schedules and equipment requirements and plan the repair and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
Trains, develops, motivates and coaches employees; provides feedback to employees and completes performance evaluations.
Ensures effective employee relations by holding employees accountable, communicating information clearly and resolving conflict among employees.
Recommends improvements to and replacement of maintenance equipment; write specifications and/or estimates for equipment orders.
Ensures complete documentation of all service to equipment, repair orders, and maintenance purchases.
Manages and collaborates on the coordination of capital projects.
Ensures compliance with applicable building, equipment and safety codes, standards and regulations.
Identifies and implements continuous improvements to streamline efficiencies and cost savings.
Other related tasks as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Maintenance Manager in an manufacturing & warehouse setting; knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, PLC’s, servo amplifiers and sensors.
Adaptable and quick to learn new processes and tools.
Has a "whatever it takes" attitude.
A track record of performance meeting targets and objectives.
Self-directed, goal-oriented and flexible, enjoying working in a fast-paced and at times challenging environment.
Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
